The heat of the indie film festival was on. The novice filmmakers and other stakeholders in the industry are the hopefuls whose adrenalin and excitement you could just smell and feel in the air. Even celebrities and VIPs in the mainstream film industry have flocked to witness the best (and worst) of indie films this year. The award giving bodies have likewise prescreened the films and shortlisted the prize winning creations.
While each one arrived in their own limousines and luxury cars while strutting the red carpet, the event’s guest of honors were on their own fashionable selves while they flared their best poses in front of the teeming camera flashes. It was the typical celebrity / VIP scene but it was bigger and better.
